When I first owned a farming property on Ebey Island (it’s on a river delta, not on an island), I hired a homeless person to help me to build a shelter using 10 X 10 dog kennel. I bought two sets, each set with four sides. Unfortunately, when we came back to build the second set the next day, one panel was gone and we were forced to build two connected shelters. At one point, I bought four 275 gallon storage tanks as a water tank and built a rainwater collection system that I was very proud of - for one year. Then, the high wind blew off the plastic roof one year. The cable ties did not hold gutters in place. Some parts of the gutters got twisted and broken. I tried to band aid the system a few times, but it was difficult by myself. One main source of the problem was that the ground was not leveled when we placed the shelter. I use one part of the shelter to store tools and apparently a grape tree. A friend gave it to me, but since there are deers that would roam on the property,...
